In August our Sales Director, Jeremy Lane embarked on a business trip of a lifetime - a trade mission around the world to develop and grow our international sales. Having gained excellent distributor contacts at various international trade exhibitions in 2014 and 2015 it was time to really establish these relationships, increase the Shearer Candles brand awareness and bring in the international orders. Jeremy visited the following countries: · Johannesburg, South Africa · Sydney, Australia · Tokyo, Japan · Seoul, South Korea · Madrid, Spain
The trip also allowed for interesting home fragrance market research. Jeremy got the chance to visit shopping outlets, meet trade and consumer customers and generally talk to people about their home fragrance wants and needs. Valuable information was collected and will be used when developing future ranges for export. Many of the Shearer Candles distributors have grand plans to grow our brand in their countries. Ideas ranging from celebrity endorsement, blogging ventures, TV home shopping channels, new websites, exhibitions, shops and own label projects. Shearer love building and developing relationships with exciting companies who are focused and ambitious. Already we are enjoying watching the Shearer Candles brand grow across the globe.
