It’s been a while, dear readers, since we were in school, yet we can still remember our favourite teachers. Mr McCracken was an enthusiastic, fresh faced, cords wearing English teacher, who helped develop our love of writing. Mrs Rorison was a glamour puss primary school teacher, who enveloped us in a heady whiff of Elnett, coffee and cigarettes when she bent over to correct our spelling. Perma-tanned and dripping in jangly gold jewellery, we wanted to be just like her when we were older, minus the 20 a day habit of course.
