We are delighted to announce that this October we are opening our third retail shop in the West End of Glasgow after the success of our Princes Square store in the city centre and our famous factory outlet at candle HQ in Govan. Based in Byres Road, the new shop is due to open its doors - the weekend of the 17th of October - right in time for the Christmas shopping season. Initially you can look forward to a Christmas home fragrance boutique filled with Shearer's scents of the season, on trend colours, fashionable home accessories, holders and lanterns. The store is set to satisfy everyone's candle needs; perfect as Christmas pressies, stocking fillers, styling your home for Winter and scenting any room or venue. Our expert 'Candle' sales team will be on hand to advise you of the perfect fragrance for you, your friends and family. Their candle knowledge is second to none - advising you on how to get the best our of your Shearer Candle or Diffuser. We have been growing the Shearer brand for years and moving into retail was firstly a dream and then a main business goal. We opened our factory shop, The Candle Store over ten years ago and since then we’ve been building a loyal customer base and perfecting our product which has given us the encouragement and foresight to open not two but three retail stores in Glasgow. A few years ago we invested in state-of-the-art machinery and extrusion technology which enabled us to double our production so we have the infrastructure already in place to up production to cope with a third outlet. Byres Road, like most high streets, has faced challenges but having recently secured a Business Improvement District (BID) we are excited about playing a part in its resurgence.
